Hi! I’m new managing servers and I’m a little lost with the dns. I install ZPanel on my server, I added a domain and upload web files by ftp. Until here all right.
The problem I have is with the dns. In my droplet I I have added a principal domain and use the dns digitalocean, but now I added a domain in my ZPanel and not to do with the dns. I have to configure dns digitalocean in ZPanel?, Or what?.
(sorry for my english)
Thanks, Regards, Daniela.

Thanks,
I try DigitalOcean’s DNS manager and works. Now I’m trying to run for ZPanel. I copy the same records using DigitalOcean’s DNS but doesn’t work, i keep looking.

Thank you very much for your answer.
regards
If you’re new to managing servers, I would highly recommend that you do NOT use a control panel, e.g. zPanel; b/c it adds yet another layer of complexity. For example, the issue you’re struggling with now.

Another suggestion is to not use FTP. Use SFTP, instead.
Thanks for your answer but I need to use a control panel to manage the domains x_X. I am new but I want to learn and so far i found tutorials for everything but I can’t solve this problem.

I just need to know if I have to create the same records that are in the digitalocean panel for my primary domain in my new domain in zpanel for use dns of digitalocean. Or an orientation of what I would have to do.

Thanks.
