Yes, the droplet will presumably cost you $5 per month.

After the new Streisand droplet is configured, you need to do the following:

"…look for the corresponding files in the ‘generated-docs’ folder in the Streisand repository directory. The HTML file will explain how to connect to the Gateway over SSL, or via the Tor hidden service. All instructions, files, mirrored clients, and keys for the new server can then be found on the Gateway. "

This is from:

The instructions (in the HTML file) start with:

“Your Streisand Gateway contains step-by-step instructions for the services it provides, and mirrors of all necessary client software. The Gateway can be accessed over SSL…”

You download and install the certificate as indicated in the instructions.

Then, towards the bottom you’ll see:

"Connecting to your Streisand Gateway

Each connection option takes you to the same place and you can use whichever one is most convenient for you. Fun fact: Your Gateway’s unique password was generated by randomly choosing four words from a dictionary with more than 283,000 entries.

I use a Mac and followed the instructions to install Tunnelblick for using the openVPN.
