The base plan of 512MB should be fine for Ubuntu along with LAMP running WordPress with your load… Make sure you add a 512MB swap also, just in case…
Best thing here is the ability to resize the box on fly so the moment you find your box running out of resource, mainly RAM, just switch to higher one on fly without any extra effort :D
