Hi there. I need to know if it is possible to recover a backup older than 4 weeks. It just happens that the one I need has been deleted in the las 24 hours. I was wandering if it is possible since it holds some data my client needs.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Heya, @8e313cd7754448aea10efbc1501a31
DigitalOcean retains backups for a limited time span only, which is 4 weeks by default. Backups older than this period are automatically deleted from our systems and can’t be recovered. If a backup is deleted manually or it has crossed the 4 week threshold, it is not possible to retrieve it.
If you frequently require backups older than 4 weeks, I would recommend considering saving snapshots manually as they do not get deleted automatically unless done manually by you.
You can also look into custom backup solutions in order to ensure that your files can easily be restored if this is ever needed. Feel free to check our docs here:

Hey @8e313cd7754448aea10efbc1501a31,
It’s possible DigitalOcean still keep the backup but it’s not a guarantee. In your case, I’ll recommend contacting the DigitalOcean’s support.
