Hi, I already have a Ubuntu installed on a droplet in Digital Ocean and I liked to wipe up the Ubuntu and set up a clean one. Please advise how do I do that? Thanks Jase

I had the same question and found a different answer;
There is a new option now (2017) where you can choose to install a clean droplet again, look for Rebuild Droplet in the Destroy menu.
Here’s a typical procedure:
- Shutdown (by command line) or power off the system (from DO control panel)
- Take a snapshot of your current droplet (just in case you forgot something to preserve)
- Delete the droplet and wait a few minutes even after it says complete.
- From the DO control panel select “Create Droplet” icon, and configure your droplet. Your IP is not guaranteed to remain the same, but there’s a good chance that it will.
- Keep the snapshot you made until you feel comfortable with the new droplet.
