Semicolon in browser droplet console?

Posted on July 14, 2015

Hi all, since I don’t have access from work to the port 22 I’m not able to do an SSH, so I must use the browser console. It doesn’t support keyboard configuration, so I must use it as it is. Well, my question is, how can I type the semicolon character in the browser console? Or even better, which is the layout used in this console? Is there any image for the layout so all users can know where are the characters?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @eyp,

I have the same situation, could you fix the problem?

Droplets’ consoles default to an EN_US keyboard layout. This can be changed from the console or via an ssh connection. This page page provides details on how to do so in Ubuntu.

That’s not true. I’m talking about the browser console, not the server console that can be accessed via SSH. As I’m not able to access via SSH because the port 22 is banned here where I am, I have to use the browser console that can’t be configured that way. So I need to know where is the semicolon.

Thanks in advance.
