I’m wondering if you guys could help me with a little issue i’m having, I followed the tutorial on digital ocean of setting up postfix for my server. And it seems some people are not receiving the emails that are suppose to be sent to them. I have ubuntu 12.04 and i’m using postfix. I have not been able to send emails to aol.com emails or aol.nl emails. I have tried both with the PHP mail() function, and sendmail through the command prompt and both of them do not work.

It seems like it’s an issue on AOL’s end

<blockquote>But thats only when i try to send to that aol.nl email, other than that I dont get any email errors back into the root mail directory. They arent in spam or junk.</blockquote> <br>So you’re able to send emails to any email address other than ****@aol.nl and they land in the inbox folders and not Spam/Junk? I’d contact aol.nl and see if the droplet’s IP address is blacklisted.
I get a email to the root mail back saying “Cannot send mail to ******@aol.nl blah blah” all that junk and stuff. But thats only when i try to send to that aol.nl email, other than that I dont get any email errors back into the root mail directory. They arent in spam or junk.
Do you see any clues in the error logs? Are the emails ending up in SPAM folders or are they getting bounced back? Or are they getting lost in cyberspace?
