Server to be accessible from China?

January 30, 2015 4.8k views

Hi,
I plan to buy a 2Gb RAM VPS server located in Singapore.
Does anyone know if it will work fine from China?
Do you have some suggestions how to make it work? Contiguration? Libraries?
Any help is very welcome!
Thanks,
Pedro

  • Latency from Singapore to China is good but bit higher then if you can buy it fro nearest like Pakistan. unfortunately Pakistan don't provide servers for gaming. I am using Cubexsweatherly with good results.
I have few servers in Singapore for my Singapore customers, for china, Pakistan and Dubai servers in Pakistan are cheaper in prices and good results.

  • Despite Singapore being closer, some users in China have reported lower latency to our San Francisco data center. I would recommend checking out the speed tests and test servers listed here to see what performs best for you.

  • for my experience, I have problem sending email to some recipients in China from DO Singapore, for example this server mxn.mxhichina.com in China
