Setting index.html in filezilla for ubuntu server

Posted on November 2, 2015

I’ve installed apache2 and transferred the files through Filezilla to /var/www, but now I’m getting a 404 not found - not even the apache “it works” page. I have an index.html file in /var/www so I don’t understand why it’s not working.
