i have been trying to get an openVPN server which allows port forwarding, i am using digital ocean for my vps i have tried 10 times and i always get the same results, I have followed a lot of guides on internet noting seems to work.

this guide describes best what i am trying to do, i have followed each and everything from this guide but after getting a vpn connection when i check my port (which i opened using iptable) on canyouseeme.com it tells me that the port is closed,

What service is supposed to be listening on the corresponding port? I’ve had a similar issue and this was because the service was not configured properly to listen on the port.
