I notice that SlickStack is now in the DigitalOcean directory however there seems no way to install as one-click app?
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tools/slickstack
Will you add the feature soon?
The homepage is recommending DO for a good cloud server. But I want to know if your team thinks which script is better for what scenario, for example, EasyEngine for blah blah or SlickStack for blah blah before I spend 100++ hours learning every difference.
I know Nginx is better performance than Apache and with FastCGI cache it can make Wordpress much lighter. The problem is so many scripts are now using Nginx and PHP-FPM so what is the best for DO cloud??

Hello,
As far as I can see you can install SlickStack by running just 1 command on a fresh new Droplet:
- cd /tmp/ && wget -O ss slick.fyi && bash ss
Regarding the 1-Click images from the DigitalOcean Marketplace, it is up to the SlickStack team to descide if they want to build a Marketplace image and submit it via the Marketplace vendor portal:
https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/vendors
Regarding your question on which one is best for DigitalOcean, I would say that it does not really matter which script you use, it is totally up to your personal preferences and which script you like the most.
No matter which script you choose, I would say that Nginx and PHP-FPM is quite a good choice.
Regards, Bobby
Hallo, the major difference…
WordOps can have more than 1 website in the server, and there is no OpenSSL option – only Lets Encrypt. And, no staging sites.
https://community.wordops.net/d/240-how-to-add-multiple-domains-to-one-site-in-wordops
SlickStack can have only 1 website in the server, and there is OpenSSL and also Lets Encrypt. There are staging sites (subdomain only).

So if you want multiple domains try WordOps. If you want staging sites feature or single high traffic domain try SlickStack.
And remember Cloudflare proxy is required if you choose OpenSSL because that is self-signed cert ;)
