Hi all!
Is it possible to have Spaces checking for authentication and authorization?
Let’s say I have bunch of restricted files on my Spaces and different users will have access to different files.
I could solve this by having a Droplet service that connects to Spaces directly, which my Droplet service would serve as authentication/authorization.
What if I don’t want this middleware droplet server? In AWS it seems like we can do some serverless solution like using Lambda.
Or am I totally misunderstanding the process?

Hello @pikachu
In Spaces, you can manage access to files using permissions and generating quick access links with expiry. Also, you can manage the Spaces using Spaces access Keys.
Here are the documentation links for more context: https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/spaces/how-to/set-file-permissions/ https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/spaces/how-to/manage-access/
We don’t have any serverless solutions such as Lambda at this time.
Cheers,
Dikshith
