Hi there,

If you are using a Managed MySQL cluster, you can rester a backup by following the steps here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/databases/mysql/how-to/restore-from-backups/

If you are using a Droplet, you can restore a backup of your Droplet as described here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/images/backups/quickstart/#restore-droplets-from-backups

I could also suggest the following checking out the following tutorial on how to create your own MySQL backup script:

https://devdojo.com/bobbyiliev/how-to-exportbackup-a-mysqlmariadb-database-with-mysqldump

Hope that this helps!

Best,

Bobby
