After recent updates from Digital ocean, my production environments got corrupted,

@sandeepkath and @3plus2, I feel your pain as that impacted me heavily as well and DO support is kinda silent and unresponsive which sucks… If this is related to a recent change on DO (Intel security issue) and you were running Ubuntu 12.04 kernel, this has saved me: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/missing-kernel-formerly-a-droplet-running-ubuntu-12-04?answer=41541
Please try it following the steps exactly as described and I hope you will get it back working.
We are in the same situation. It is an absolute disaster. We do understand that Spectre/Meltdown received much media attention, but the “fix” in this case is much worse than the possible impact of these vulnerabilities. So far no response to my tickets either.
