I use Tierra net to buy / manage my domains. Currently, I have two domains managed there:
foo.com which points to ns1.mediatemple.net
and
bar.com which points to ns1.digitalocean.com (and works fine)
I am trying to change foo.com on TierraNet to point to ns1.digitalocean.com but I keep getting this error:
“Unable to verify nameserver with registry”
I have configured foo.com in the droplet on DigitalOcean.
Is there something else I need to do on the digital ocean side to allow the nameserver to point to it?

Hi there,
There should be no need to make any changes on the DigitalOcean side in order to change your nameservers via your domain name provider.
If you are still not being able to change the nameservers, I would advise you to reach out to your domain name provider support team and they should be able to verify what might be causing the problem on their end.
Let me know how it goes!
Best,
Bobby
