Hey Faisol,
Aside from the A record, make sure you’ve also:
Also, double-check that the A record points to the correct Droplet IP.
- Bobby
First, ensure that the A record correctly points to your Droplet’s IP address and that DNS propagation has completed (this can take up to 48 hours). You can check this using a tool like whatsmydns.net
Next, make sure your web server (Nginx, Apache, etc.) is running and properly configured to serve requests for your domain. If you’re using Nginx, check your server block settings in /etc/nginx/sites-available/ to confirm that the server_name matches your domain. Restart the web server after making changes with sudo systemctl restart nginx (or apache2 if you’re using Apache)
Also, verify that your firewall settings allow HTTP/HTTPS traffic. If you’re using UFW, try sudo ufw allow 80/tcp and sudo ufw allow 443/tcp to ensure web traffic is not blocked
Heya,
Make sure that your WebService is running on your Droplet otherwise there isn’t anything to connect to. So if you are using either Nginx/Apache just make sure the service is running.
