We are using social media plugin in our wordpress site . On previous server it is working good but after transfer is not working . On activating the plugin it is showing the error.
Error : It appears that your web host has disabled all functions for handling remote pages and as a result the plugin will not function on your website. Please contact your web host for more information.

the same issue i am facing on my site https://www.snkcreation.com/ , if i add social plugins i am getting error that this plugin not found on your server. Already sent mail to wordpress but no response. please help me how can i add social media plugin in landing page which does not have header and footer ?

Here in DO, everything is self managed, so if there is any specific feature the plug in is talking about, it’s you who has to turn that on…
Usually it’s to do with certain php, file permission or such settings with these plug ins.
Since its an application related issue, it would better to seek advice from the developer of that plug in or in WordPress forum for guidance towards the that specific issue.
I remember similar issues with my set up also when I moved here, WordPress forum did provide good guidance towards the same, and in my case, as I wrote, it was with file / directory permission issues…
