When I ssh into my droplet. Ubuntu tell me I have 66 packages can be updated. 31 updates are security updates.
This is a new Droplet (and I’m new to Ubuntu) … is there a how to or best practices for this? I’m most concerned about the security updates…

Little script I wrote that makes it easier ;D
curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MLWALK3R/upgrade-easier/master/update.sh | bash
There most likely will be a restart required for a few of them. Shutdown & snapshot then run this:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade && sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade && sudo reboot
Note: That command will automatically say yes to all updates and will restart one it completes updates. If something breaks or you are having issues, restore back to the snapshot.
