Updating to Ubuntu 16.04 and phpmyadmin configuration

Posted on October 28, 2018

I was updating to Ubuntu 16.04 (I know, I’m pretty late), everything was going smoothly until I was prompted to configure Phpmyadmin by adding a remote mysql server

I have no idea what I’m supposed to and I can’t find any information at all online.

Can anyone tell me what I should do?

Here’s what I’m seeing: https://ibb.co/hcLBTA

Hi @creativiii,

Typing in localhost or 127.0.0.1 should do the trick. To be honest, I’ve never been asked to configure this in any of the times installing phpMyAdmin but who knows.

Anyway, setting this to localhost should be enough.
