Hi there,

There are a few things that you could do in order to reduce the TTFB for your website:

  • Install a caching plugin like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache. That will reduce the overall load on your server as the content will be served from cached files.

  • Check the server resource utilization and make sure that you have enough RAM and CPU. You can do that by following the steps here.

  • Reduce the number of overall plugins that you are using

  • You could also try tweaking the Nginx configuration for better performance as per this tutorial here:

Nginx is a fast and lightweight alternative to the sometimes overbearing Apache 2. However, Nginx just like any kind of server or software must be tuned to help attain optimal performance. Here's how to optimize Nginx configuration.
