What am I doing wrong with my DNS setup

Keep in mind that DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to propagate across the internet. You can check the progress of the transfer in App Platform’s dashboard.

Here are a few steps that you can follow in order to get this resolved:

1. Make sure that you’ve registered the domain dropgod.com with Google Domains and that it is active in your account.

2. Make sure that your app is successfully deployed to the App Platform.

3. Go back to Google Domains, and update your domain’s name servers to DigitalOcean’s name servers:

   • ns1.digitalocean.com
   • ns2.digitalocean.com
   • ns3.digitalocean.com

4. Wait for Propagation: Changes to DNS settings can take up to 48 hours to propagate across the internet. During this time, you may experience inconsistent behavior when accessing your domain.

5. Check for Conflicts or Misconfigurations:

   • Make sure there are no conflicting DNS records in Google Domains.
   • Verify that your DigitalOcean nameservers are correct.

6. Use the following tool to do your DNS lookups

   https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tools/dns
