What happens when I reach my traffic limit?

Posted on November 16, 2016
  1. What happens when I reach my monthly traffic limit? For example, for $5/month droplet it’s 100Gb.

  2. Where can I see it, how much I’ve used this month?

For now, you can’t see how much you used this month. Because of that, DigitalOcean is not charging for bandwidth overages. Once bandwidth monitoring is implemented, DigitalOcean will charge you $0.02 for every GB you exceed transfer limit. It’s unknown when it’ll be implemented but DO will send notifications to all users before they do.

Edit: Just to note, it’s 1000 GB (1 TB) not 100 GB for $5/month Droplet. :)
