Hello, is there a way to add more storage to a droplet without the need to increase processor or memory?
Thank you

Unfortunately customized plans are not supported. Our pricing page lists all available droplet options: https://digitalocean.com/pricing.
You can easily move to next VPS plan that offers DO. But as I understand your point, that can perfect DO if DO develop a feature something like elastic scale in the future.
I think DO is likely going to continue focusing on server/ computing management and let the big guys deal with the pass storage. That said, you can actually use external servers for storage while running Apache and the rest of your site on a DO server. For instance, I have a photography website that houses a lot of big image files. I use amazon web services to host the image files and DO to host the actual website files. It’s not THAT difficult and if you use Wordpress (like Umakant is) it’s even easier since there are now plugins that allow that.
