In Australia, GST (Goods and Services Tax) is a 10% tax applied to most goods and services, including 1-year VPS hosting purchases. If the hosting provider is registered with the ATO or supplies digital services to Australian customers, GST is usually added to the final price at checkout. This means Australian buyers typically pay the hosting cost plus 10% GST, unless the provider is exempt or the customer is GST-registered and eligible to claim credits.
