Hello,
Now I am using a virtual machine in Digital Ocean: 2GB Memory, 1 VCPUS, SSD DISK 50 GB
When I install ElasticSearch and Neo4j, it seems cause errors about weak memory and I can’t install them.
What is the cheapest Minimum virtual machine which can install ElasticSearch and Neo4J both in DigitalOcean for me to upgrade? I just need a server to learn with my project!

Hi there @congtoanle93,
As far as I can see the minimum RAM requirements for Neo4j is 2GB. However, as you have ElasticSearch as well I would recommend starting with 4GB in total, so that you would have enough for both services.
Another thing that you could do is, if you start with 4GB of RAM you could create a 2GB Swap file so that you have some buffer as well. You can take a look at this article here on how to do this:

Hope that this helps! Regards, Bobby
Hey,
I had been running Elasticsearch on 2GB of RAM and it seems it’s not sufficient. I would highly recommend at least 4GB of RAM and then monitor your system vitals. I also do not recommend using Swap space for Elasticsearch as it degrades the performance.
