When would a droplet status be "archive"?

Posted on December 24, 2014

According the the documentation, a droplet may be in one of four states: “new”, “active”, “off” or “archive”. The first three states would be when a droplet is being initialized, currently powered on, or currently powered off, respectively. What would cause a droplet to be in the “archive” state? Have I overlooked an obvious “Archive Droplet” button?
