It really depends on your skills. If you know your PHP, I’ll recommend using a PHP Framework, that way you won’t have to reinvent the wheel so to say. Most PHP Frameworks come with really good function already being created which will speed the building of your website tremendously.
I’ll recommend using Laravel, it’s a good mixture of automation and you having to write the code for your website. Additionally, there are a really good admin panels to help you out as well. The one I’m using is Voyager- Check it out here.
Oh, almost forgot, Laravel has a really good written knowledge base which will help you learn it pretty fast.
