Why can't I connect to my server (Can't Find Server Error) ?

Posted on March 20, 2016

Hi, I’m running Ubuntu 14.04 x 32 - 2 GB Memory / 40 GB Disk / NYC3 Droplet. Every blue moon, my server (websites) go down and I have to restart the server via Terminal ssh using command » sudo reboot. But today my sites went down again and I can’t even connect to my server via terminal, FTP or the DO console access. I get this error > Failed to connect to server (code: 1006) from the console access but the status says active in the DO dashboard. I have no Idea what’s wrong or how to access my server to restart it. Please any help would be much appreciated.
