Most of the website supports debit/pre-paid card for payment. I have one Payoneer Mastercard Pre-paid card which was used to pay many bills through different websites.
I got an offer ($100 credits) from Github Student Developer Pack and I really want to use this service. But when I want to create a droplet it tells me to add payment method. But when I tried to add my card it says, they don’t support debit or pre-paid cards. What can be done here?

I had this problem as well. I was trying to move my sites from Amazon EC2 to Digital Ocean. But Digital Ocean didn’t accept my debit card I use everywhere, and using PayPal will increase my costs significantly. So I will stay on Amazon, it doesn’t have problems with accepting debit cards. It’s quite strange that large company like Digital Ocean can’t find a way to fight fraud except blocking the ways to doing payments. Won’t recommend this company to anyone.
I thought DigitalOcean is now accepting Payoneer MasterCard, right? List here.
Unfortunately we have had to restrict the use of some prepaid and debit cards where the issuer was associated with a large amount of fraud on our system. While we want to make it as easy as possible to get up and running we unfortunately must balance that against fraud protection to ensure that we can continue to offer our services to our paying users at the price points we have.
