I tried to sign up, but I could not because your payment systems (both paypal and credit card) are requiring that I must link my bank account before continuing. Why?
I prefer NOT to link my bank accounts to paypal or to any online vendor. Why this unnecessary restriction?
I have used Linode.com and ovh.com and they never require this kind of invasive requirement. Is there a way for me to try your service without linking my personal bank account? I just want to try it for one month before deciding if I will stay with your company for a long time.

I don’t know. Check was a good idea for me. It’s not that hard as it seems to be. First I didn’t know how to use it as well, but it took me like 5 minutes to get it. That time I only had the name of my bank, but just googling the info I found out all the necessary details. So you need to have only routing number, account number and check number to pay whatever you need. If you don’t know on of the codes it’s easy to find. For example 31100209 is a number of my bank. Just going to the site and entering the name I could find it. Account number should be somewhere on the documents. And number of the check that’s the thing only you can know. So good luck if you choose this way.
There isn’t even a mechanism in there to ask for your bank account so I’m not sure what ugokm would be talking about. Paypal always wants you to connect your bank account as it’s cheaper for them to draw funds from there than from a card, but that has nothing to do with DO. Just use a credit card if you have issues with Paypal and save your anxiety for something important.
