I have recently transferred my blog https://founder360mag.com/ to hosting on digital ocean. When trying to share an article on Facebook, the post does not display the article’s thumbnail. I tried to debug it and I got this message “Could Not Connect To Server Check that the webserver is running, and that there are no firewalls blocking Facebook’s crawlers”
Upon searching this error on Google, there were some suggestions that it could be a hosting issue where the host has blocked Facebook access to my site.
Could this be true? If not, kindly assist with whatever solution.

Hi @valfeloti,
It really depends on your website however the usual solution would be putting up a meta tag including an og:image. This is what facebook actually checks, the exact tag is
<meta property="og:image" content="Path/to/image" />
If you do have the said tag, it’s indeed possible somewhere something is missing however if you can see your Website’s title and description when you post it on Facebook then most probably it’s not a connection issue.
Lastly, I’ll recommend using the following link to debug your application and what exactly is going on - https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
