Wordpress: Home page redirecting to BBPress forum page

When accessing the site: http://tantrasurbanos.com/ for some reason I haven’t been able to find, the home page is redirecting to http://tantrasurbanos.com/archivo/foro-tantras/

-I’ve tried disabling plug-ins. -I’ve checked the redirections created in the redirect plugin. -I’ve changed the permalinks settings back and forth (these are working fine though I’m not able to see the .htaccess file in the server’s /var/www directory) -I’ve even restarted the server. -The theme is using the index.php as home page, and I also tried copying this file as a “home template”, using it in a “new page” and changing the Wordpress homepage configuration to point to this new page. Still getting the redirect.

Does anybody have a clue of what may be happening?

Any help/suggestions are appreciated!
