ZPanel error (using password: YES)

Posted on December 18, 2013

I have droplets with Ubuntu 12.04 and run nginx on it. I want install ZPanel but not in fresh droplets.

“mysqladmin: connect to server at ‘localhost’ failed error: ‘Access denied for user ‘root’@‘localhost’ (using password: NO)’ ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ‘root’@‘localhost’ (using password: YES)”

“Critical Error: [0100] - Unable to connect or authenticate to the ZPanel database (zpanel_core).We advice that you contact the server administrator to ensure that the database server is online and that the correct connection parameter are being used.”

So what must i do if i got stuck at that step? Thank you!

I have droplets with Ubuntu 12.04 and run nginx on it.
I want install ZPanel but not in fresh droplets.

zPanel is not meant to be installed on existing droplets. I recommend installing it on a new droplet and migrating your sites manually to make sure everything goes properly.
