Hello!
I’m planning to deactivate my Digital Ocean account. However, I would like to keep a security copy of my PWA droplet and data so I could restore them at a later time in case of need. As I understand, I can not download any backups or snapshots created with Digital Ocean…
Is there any easy way to create a security copy for restore for non-technical users (that does not require to intervene on code level)?
Many thanks in advance for any tips!

Hi there,
Indeed, you are correct, you cannot currently download DigitalOcean backups or snapshots directly.
As an alternative, I would recommend backing up and downloading your data with SnapShooter.
Alternatively, you can also use third-party tools like rsync or SFTP.

Hope that this helps!

Heya,

If you don’t like that idea, the simplest way is to download your Application locally. For instance, you can use rsync or with FTP to download it.
