api for event polling

hey, I notice when you create a droplet there is a progress bar that updates the status using a /events/polling (or something similar) route.

could we get that as an api?

You can use the Droplet/SHOW API call to confirm when a droplet has finished creating: <br> <br>[DROPLET_ID]?client_id=[YOUR_CLIENT_ID]&api_key=[YOUR_API_KEY] <br> <br>When you first issue the create command the droplet’s “status” will be “new”. <br> <br>When the create is finished and the status will change to “active”. Until you see the “active” status in the SHOW request the droplet is still being created - which can take longer when droplets are created from snapshots or backup images.
