Question

App platform regional availability

I was wondering if there’s any timeline on additional regions being added to the app platform? I’m especially interested in it becoming available in LON1.

I also notice there’s no mention of the app platform on the regional availability matrix which might be a good place to communicate the answer to my question.

Unfortunately we don’t have a public timeline available for expansion into new regions for the app platform, but it is a high priority item for our team roadmap.

Also thank you for calling out the regional availability matrix documentation! I created an internal ticket and we will get that updated soon.

We recently launched App Platform in SGP, BLR, and SFO!

You can check out the new documentation for the availability matrix here: https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/platform/availability-matrix/#app-platform-availability

Asia Please, or at atlases make it available in SFO so the speed to Asia region be much faster then NYC now!
