Every time I click on the link of my project it starts slow, it takes more than 10s load the first time, then it loads normally until there is inactivity. Then it’s slowing down again. check the site: browsedocs.com. It takes forever to load the first time.
How to stop the app platform from shutting down after a few seconds of inactivity?
Thanks

Hi there,
It’s unusual for applications hosted on the DigitalOcean App Platform to experience significant delays in startup time after periods of inactivity, as the services on the platform are designed to run continuously.
This contrasts with serverless functions, where ‘cold starts’ can occur due to their on-demand resource allocation. After testing your application, I haven’t been able to replicate the slow-loading issue you described. The problem might be due to other factors unrelated to the typical operation of the App Platform.
Are you utilizing a serverless function in your app? If this is the case, you can implement a scheduled job (like a cron job) to invoke the function at regular intervals. This keeps the function ‘warm’ by ensuring that it’s executed periodically, thus reducing the likelihood of a cold start.
Hope that this helps!
Best,
Bobby
