Hello @xx0bb
Some marketplace droplets will require you to connect via
ssh
to complete the installation process, so if you’ve used a droplet image from our marketplace this might be the case.Droplets from our marketplace come with good documentation so you can double-check it and ensure you’ve completed the setup.
If you’ve created the droplet manually via the control panel, follow the tutorial Bobby mentioned to complete the LAMP stack setup.
Regards
Hi there,
In addition to what has already been mentioned you could also use the user data option during the Droplet creation as described here in the docs:
https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/provide-user-data/
Alternatively, you could use a tool like Ansible to automate the initial server setup and configuration. Here is a great resource on how to get started:
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-linux-apache-mysql-php-lamp-stack-on-ubuntu-22-04
Hope that this helps!
Best,
Bobby
Hi @xx0bb,
Have you used one of the MarketPlace Droplets? If yes, can you please provide me the link to it so that we can check it out and see if there is anything we can do or worry about?
You can check this one here;
https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/lamp
It will come with Apache/MySQl and PHP all installed, try it out.
