Basic cpanel and whm setup

hello, i have installed c panel, i have got only 1 ip in digital ocean account. which is 104.131.56.92 so i have assign this ip with both name server ns1 and ns2 as well.

its been more than 5hrs still my domain has not propagated with this ip and name server. I have changed all child name server, ip and name server in domain panel.

So I only want to know is there any thing more which is missing. Please let me know.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I am no expert but Google / Yahoo / Godaddy and all these services do asks for 72 hours (MAX) for DNS propagation..

    So I guess you need to wait further !!

    Mean while check the Open DNS cache to see how is going world wide..

  • It may take a while for initial propagation. Additionally there is an option instead of using the same IP address for both your nameservers. cPanel provides a free DNS-Only license which you can install on a second droplet to act as your secondary DNS server.

  • Yup you’re right, But i never experienced that long time in domain propagation.
