Ive trying to make a theme for wordpress but while im doing it, i wonder if my wallet could die.
Basically i want some sort of blog that show hundreds of images but in the same way some tumblr themes.
As far i can remember when developing a theme for tumblr, i was using masonryjs, that behaviour can be achieved obviously, but im wondering what could be the cost, im just “believing” that the 5usd plan can let me host the site without killing my wallet if someone decide to go on a rush in the image section.
I know that the images can be treated or modified with plugins to reduce their size, but that can help with the cost? I honestly dont want to end paying hundreds for a blog that could be visited for less than hundred people.

Hey, I don’t think you’d pay that much just for reducing their sizes, using plugins
I am not sure what your question is here, since there is a lot of text with a lot of commas and not really a question.
Anyway, if you’re question is if someone could overload your Droplet by uploading a lot of images, and let you pay a lot; no that is not possible since the $5 droplet is limited to it’s resources. You will never pay more than that.
