Hey, I have got a ML hackathon coming up which requires good amount of GPU compute. Therefore i was thinking if it’s possible to utilize GitHub Student Pack for GPU droplet billing.

Hey!
I think that it should work, do you get any errors when you try to do so?
If so it might be worth reaching out to support to see if they could help out with this:
it displays “Your current limit does not allow creating a GPU Droplet. Request Access” where i have to mention Reason for increase. So it makes me kind of cautious if the bill will be issued on my cc, rather than using Github Student credits
Hey! github student pack usually gives credits or discounts for certain cloud services, but it doesn’t directly cover gpu droplets everywhere. You’d need to check if the provider offering gpu droplets is included in the pack.
If it’s not, you might still be able to use free credits from other platforms like google colab, kaggle, or aws educate for gpu workloads. That can be a good workaround for hackathons!
