I have a droplet running on 134.209.82.229
However if I try to access the control panel :5984/_utils/
for my running CouchDB it times out always.
I can confirm that:
port 5984 is open with ALLOW EVERYWHERE
and “netstat -an | grep 5984” results in this:
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:5984 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
I can’t seem to find anyone else with the exact same issue.

Hi there,
I have just tried accessing the CouchDB installation and it seems to be working as expected.
What I could suggest is to make sure that you do not have a local firewall either installed on your laptop on your home network that could be blocking the connections to that port.
Let me know how it goes. Best, Bobby
