After done the “Reset root password” option, I can never ssh root@IP to my droplet. I did receive the new root password by email.
It states that: Clicking Reset Root Password below will immediately shut down your Droplet and set a new root password.
But when it will reboot the droplet?
I also tried to turn the droplet off and on, but I still can’t access through ssh root@IP.
Thank you for your help!

Hey there! Please reach out to support@digitalocean.com and our team will be more than happy to help you regain access. I apologize but we do not have any visibility to user accounts from here.
Try to set up your ssh public key instead of using root. It’s much safer and more security wise. With that you will have username and you will be able to login to the droplet easier. I haven’t used root login but just sharing experience I have so far with DigitalOcean’s droplets.
