I installed gnome-terminal via apt-get, its needed by my project
When I type gnome-terminal to open it, it sends an error:
Unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused
# Failed to parse arguments: Cannot open display:
What can I do?

You should be able to sort the issue by running:
export DISPLAY=:0.0
before invoking the program itself.
