Changing FTP password on Ubuntu 20.04

Hi,

So, I am a total and absolute illiterate, but I’m good at following instructions, so I’m hoping some of you smart folks will rise up and help a man in need!

I have set up droplet using Ubuntu 20.04 and I can login in SSH using root and password.

I have also an FTP (Pure-FTPd) account set up using this format that I use with Filezilla:

HOST : example.com Username : myself Password : niceone Port : 21

Once, I log in, I see: /

which has: conf (Dir) htdocs (Dir) logs (Dir) wp-config.php

Now coming to my question: HOW do I change the password associate with my username?

I know that I can change the “root” login password. That is not what I am asking. How do I change the password associated with my FTP username “myself”?
