Hello,
I’m currently using debian 7 64x and to install glusterFs-client I need to upgrade the kernel version (something about fuse not working on the digitalOcean version)
So I will have to upgrade my kernel (in previous test I did it, and it work) But I’m not sure which one to upgrade to. I have thoses options:
I understand the 3.2.* is the kernel version, but what about the +deb7u*? what is the “u” at the end?
Thank you

The +deb7u1 is the Debian patch version. From the Debian Developer Reference:
The convention is to append +debXu1 (where X is the major release number), e.g. 1:2.4.3-4+deb7u1, of course increasing 1 for any subsequent uploads.
