Hi,
I’m trying to connect to droplet with SSH using DigitalOcean CLI and I’m following this tutorial now: How to Connect to Droplets with SSH :: DigitalOcean Documentation
In step 4, after I run this command:
doctl compute ssh <My Droplet Name>
I got this warning
Warning: Identity file /root/.ssh/id_rsa not accessible: No such file or directory. root@<My Server IP address>: Permission denied (publickey).
However, I can access my public key using cat /home/xichen/.ssh/id_rsa.pub, and I created and uploaded my SSH key successfully on DigitalOcean.
Can anybody help me with please?
Kind regards, Xi

This is because my creation of SSH is not root user, I didn’t change to root user to create it.
After I switching the user to the correct one, I connected to the server successfully.
