Where is the answers ??? A customer is using your product, asking you a straight question, and you are answer him on a totally different matter. Wtf !!! What’s going on with you guys. In my case I am stuck with symbole taping on using the console-european keyboard-, it is a fucking nightmare, because your support service disconnect my droplet, because of presence of hacks on it, 2 days after I told you by ticket, and know I am trying to backup and symbole are a nightmare to tape on your console… What’s wrong with you, I am a pro and using droplets from years, you really have to improve this part guys. Otherwise you gonna have some legacy trouble !!! Regards
The web console should really only be used as a last resort. It’s there to give you quick access in case of emergency or if you somehow locked yourself out.

If you need to do real work like dropping into a mysql console, I’d strongly suggest accessing the droplet over SSH. On MAC or Linux, you can just use SSH directly from your terminal. On Windows you can use PUTTY:

https://digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-log-into-a-vps-with-putty-windows-users
