Do you happen to be using a non-US keyboard layout? The web console uses a strict US keyboard layout. If you’re using an international keyboard, we recommend using an on-screen software keyboard set to use a US layout.
It’s recommended to log in to your Droplet using SSH, as the web console is meant for remote access in case you are locked out of your Droplet and so cannot SSH into it. See this tutorial on how to log in using SSH:
I’m having this problem as well, I could possibly edit relevant network config files but it seems impossible. The next thing that happened is that the Web UI console stopped accepting my passwords. Very problematic situation, a live service is down and people are screaming at me.
