I am trying to retrieve a backup that was about a month ago because when I reset my server I lost the main Database file. I cannot find the backup from around a month ago and further on in my backups list. Does Digital Ocean keep them on file somewhere?
Can you reach out to support to retrieve those backups?
Is they’re a price for retrieving those backups?

Hi @yivster,
There is a small chance DigitalOcean have yet to remove the backup. The best course of action here is to contact DigitalOcean’s Support and ask them to see if the Backup is still available.
You can reach them here :
If you have a ticket reference already, you can post it here and I’ll try and speed up the process for you.
Hope that helps! - KFSys.
Hello there,
As already mentioned your best option is to reach out to our support team and they will check this for you.
You can also manually backup the data on your droplet using third-party tools like rsync or SFTP.
